Application of Very High-resolution Pictometry Imagery to Assessing Albizia Risk in Hawai'i

The authors used Pictometry® imagery to highlight disaster risks posed by the highly hazardous invasive albizia tree. Read more about how this disaster management research is promoting transdisciplinary collaborations (across academic programs, government agencies and the private sector), uncovering the economic impacts of invasive species as well transforming community resilience and socio-ecological sustainability  in America's "battle against the albizia tree":
